Major Application
In the foam industry: T80 is used as stabilizer and co-foaming agent in the production of polyurethane foam. Tween 80 is a non-ionic surfactant with significant resistance to electrolytes.
In the pharmaceutical industry: Tween 80 is used as a wetting agent to improve the wettability of the surface of drug particles. Aqueous tablets for hydrophobicity allow easy penetration of moisture, thereby accelerating disintegration.
In food: T-80 can be used as a foaming agent, by generating air bubbles inside the food to make the appearance fluffy, it can be used in cakes, breads, etc. Emulsifiers containing unsaturated fatty acid chains can be used as defoaming agents to inhibit or eliminate air bubbles without affecting the taste of products, and are widely used in dairy products, beverages, etc.

Dosage:According to GB 2760-96, it can be used for emulsifying natural pigment, the maximum usage is 1.g/kg; The maximum usage in milk is 1.5g/kg; The maximum usage in ice cream and ice cream is 1.0g/kg.
Solubility :Soluble in warm water, methanol and ethyl acetate. Insoluble in mineral and vegetable water.
