Features
Polysorbate 60 emulsifier also known as Tween 60, its appearance is yellow to amber oily liquid or paste, with a slight special odor and slightly bitter taste. It is a nonionic surfactant, soluble in 40℃ warm water and many organic solvents, but insoluble in oil.Polysorbate 60 has excellent emulsification, wetting, foaming, diffusion, etc.
Application
Tween 60 can be used as emulsifier, dispersant, stabilizer, softener, antistatic agent and rust inhibitor. Therefore, it can be applied to many fields, such as synthetic plastics, synthetic rubber, pharmaceuticals, petroleum, cosmetics, paints and pigments, textiles, and the food industry.Polysorbate 60 in food can improve the texture and increase flexibility of food products.
