Propylene Glycol has good adhesion and wet compression properties and has a wide variety of usages in the pharmaceutical and industrial fields. Application

Propylene glycol (also named 1,2-propanediol) is extensively utilized as a raw material for unsaturated polyester resins. In the pharmaceutical industry, MPG is regareded as a solvent in oral, injection, and topical formulations. Besides, Propylene glycol is also used as an antifreeze, in cellophane, plasticizers. It also can be a tobacco wetting agent, mold inhibitor, fruit ripening preservative, and heat carrier.
