Product Description

 

Distilled monostearate(DMG) is a food additive commonly used as an emulsifier in the food industry. Mono and diglycerides are derived from natural sources such as vegetable oils and animal fats. In addition, Emulsifier 471 has the characteristics of white color, odorless, and stable performance. Among distilled monoglyceride, the emulsifying effect of glyceryl monostearate is higher, so the emulsifying ability is 3-4 times higher than that of crude esters.

 

E471 food additive has several benefits when used in food products. Mono and diglycerides are primarily used as an emulsifier, which means it helps to mix ingredients that do not naturally blend. DMG emulsifier can improve the texture, consistency, and overall quality of foods such as ice cream, bakery products, and creamy dressings and sauces.

Applications

 

In food industry

 

1. Protein drink: Improve the stability of fat and protein, and prevent stratification and precipitation.

2. Ice cream: Prevent the formation of large ice crystals, increase the delicate and smooth taste, and improve shape retention and stability.

3. Pasta products: Bread Improve the crumb structure, delay hardening, and extend shelf life.

4. Cake: Increase volume, improve texture, and extend shelf life.

5. Biscuits: Improve the operating performance, increase the crispness of the biscuits, prevent the oil from leaking out, and make the dough easy to de-mold.

6. Grease: Margarine adjusts the crystallization of oil, enhances the stability of the water-in-oil system, and prevents oil-water separation.
