Gardenia green is easily soluble in water and ethanol aqueous solution, but insoluble in organic solvents. Its hue and stability are hardly affected by pH. Bright color, strong coloring power, good light resistance, heat resistance, good color stability, no precipitation in the pH range of 4-8.
