Gardenia red pigment is reddish brown powder or liquid, easily soluble in water, ethanol solution below 30%, insoluble in absolute ethanol and grease. Good heat resistance and light resistance; good dyeability to protein and carbohydrates.
Solubility:
Easily soluble in water and ethyl alcohol, insoluble in non-polar solvents, such as benzene and gasoline

APPLICATIONS:
