Celebrating The Dragon Boat Festival

As the scent of mugwort fills the air and dragon boats race across the rivers, the Dragon Boat Festival, known as Duanwu Jie, returns on May 31, carrying with it centuries of tradition and a deep sense of cultural pride.

This vibrant festival, rooted in the legend of Qu Yuan, an ancient Chinese poet and statesman, commemorates his loyalty and sacrifice. To honor his memory, people traditionally throw zongzi into the river and hold dragon boat races-customs that have been passed down for generations. Other traditions include hanging mugwort and calamus on doorways, wearing scented sachets, and enjoying symbolic foods like salted duck eggs to ward off evil and bring good fortune.

To celebrate this meaningful occasion, Henan Chemsino Industry Co., Ltd. prepared thoughtful gifts in advance for every member of the team: beautifully wrapped zongzi and salted duck eggs, symbols of protection, prosperity, and family reunion.
